Davar Studios LLC, Kissimmee, Florida
A small Florida studio building software for Christian practice.
Davar is the Hebrew word for "word." Davar Studios LLC was founded in 2026 by Will Ruggles. We make one app, carefully, and we help churches and small businesses make clear decisions about technology.
Who we are
One founder, a small circle of testers, and a slow hand.
Will Ruggles founded Davar Studios after fourteen years in healthcare IT, where he trained clinicians on the systems they use every day and supported those systems after go-live. He writes the studio's software himself and runs the company from Kissimmee, Florida.
The studio is one person and the people who test what he builds. That is on purpose. It keeps the work honest and the promises small.
What we make
A Christian fasting and prayer app
Our first product is an app for people who fast and pray, on their own or with their church. It keeps the time of a fast, offers Scripture for each stage of it, gives a quiet place to write a prayer, and lets a small group fast together and encourage one another.
It is in private testing with a group of believers in Florida ahead of its public release. The app's name will be announced when it is ready.
The app is not medical advice. Anyone with a health condition should talk with a doctor before fasting.
Work with us
Strategy for churches and small businesses
Choosing software. Untangling a workflow that has grown around three spreadsheets. Deciding whether to build something or buy it. A plain second opinion before you sign a contract with a vendor.
Engagements are short and fixed in scope, and the result is written down so you can act on it without us.
Start with an email. Tell us what you are trying to do, and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.
